We are recruiting reliable Assembly Operatives to join a busy and growing operation in Pucklechurch. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term stability for the right candidates.
Your Duties Will Include:
- Industrial/Manufacturing (around 75-85%): The core responsibilities are production-focused:
- Assembling refrigeration units from existing designs.
- Following engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Fitting mechanical components.
- Using jib/gantry cranes to install compressors.
- Installing insulation (lagging).
- Maintaining quality standards and health & safety.
- Working to production schedules.
- Technical Engineering (around 15-25%): There are some technical aspects:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Identifying discrepancies in drawings or components.
- Understanding mechanical assemblies.
- Working with refrigeration equipment.
- Carrying out testing/inspection (preferred experience).
These tasks require technical aptitude, but you're using engineering information, not creating it.
