Type: Temporary | Full Time We are currently recruiting for a Temporary 3.5 Tonne Van Driver to join a well-established transport and logistics company.
This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys driving, providing excellent customer service, and working as part of a team.
The Role As a 3.5 Tonne Van Driver , you'll be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently while representing the company professionally.
This role is more than just driving and includes manual handling, customer installations, and occasional specialist deliveries.
Key responsibilities include: Driving a 3.5 tonne company van to complete scheduled deliveries.
Loading and unloading goods (heavy lifting required).
Driving in and around London when required.
Installing or assembling customer products at customer premises.
Assisting with furniture removals when required.
Delivering glass panels using the appropriate lifting equipment provided.
Providing excellent customer service at every delivery.
Communicating with the transport office throughout the day.
Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
What We're Looking For Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
Previous experience driving a 3.5 tonne van or in a delivery driving role is preferred.
Comfortable with early starts between 4:30am and 7:00am .
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
Confident driving in and around London.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Please note: Due to the company's vehicle insurance policy, applicants must be aged 25 or over .
Pay & Benefits £13.33 per hour.
Temporary, full-time opportunity.
