HGV Class 1 Driver

Location: Rugby Truckstop, Watling Street, CV23 0AE, Rugby

Full-Time | Permanent

Earn up to £18.65 per hour + £5 tax-free meal allowance per shift

We're looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Rugby Truckstop depot, supporting our General Haulage and Trunking operations.

Shift Patterns Available:

  • Days: Start times between 00:00-11:00
  • Nights: Start times between 16:00-19:00
  • Working any 5 days from 7
  • Weekend working available

Pay Rates:

  • Monday-Friday Days: £15.15 per hour
  • Monday-Friday Nights: £16.35 per hour
  • Saturday & Sunday Days: £18.15 per hour
  • Saturday & Sunday Nights: £18.65 per hour

Plus £5 tax-free meal allowance per shift.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • General Haulage and Trunking operations
  • Deliveries and collections to RDCs, stores and distribution centres
  • Vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • Maintaining compliance with Driver's Hours and Tachograph regulations
  • Delivering excellent service while representing the Stobart brand

Qualifications - What We're Looking For:

  • Valid C+E Licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Maximum 6 penalty points (no DD/DR convictions)
  • Good knowledge of Driver's Hours and WTD regulations
  • 6 months' Class 1 experience preferred
  • New Pass Drivers welcome
