We have multiple opportunities for Roofers who can also carry out cavity wall insulation installation and extraction works across Yorkshire, the North East and North West.

The Role

You will be a key part of our in-house delivery teams, responsible for roofing works, solar PV preparation/installation support, and cavity wall insulation installation and extraction. This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring strong technical ability, customer focus and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Roofing & Solar Support
    • Install roof-mounted solar PV systems using various mounting solutions, always following roofing best-practice
    • Carry out roofing works including: Slate and tile removal/replacement, Flashings and waterproofing, General roofing maintenance to ensure long-lasting installations
    • Run cables and conduit and work closely with PV Electricians and site teams
    • Support Electricians during commissioning of battery storage and charging systems
  • Cavity Wall Insulation & Extraction
    • Carry out cavity wall insulation installation and extraction work
    • Complete pre- and post-works inspections and resolve any identified issues
    • Ensure installations and extractions are completed safely and to a high standard
    • Follow all company procedures and industry best practice

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Roofer for Solar PV systems
  • Experience in cavity wall insulation installation and/or extraction
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Flexible approach to working hours

Desirable

  • Solar PV installation experience (residential or commercial)
  • ACCOPS certification (training can be provided if not held)
  • Completion of an SVQ-approved apprenticeship or traineeship
