Responsibilities as a Senior Care Assistant:

  • Lead and support the care team on shift, ensuring high standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered
  • Administer and manage medications in line with policies and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and management to ensure residents' needs are met

Requirements as a Senior Care Assistant:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)
  • At least 2 years experience as a Care Assistant within a residential or nursing home setting
