We're recruiting a Lamination Operator to join our production team in Brigg , operating lamination machinery to produce high-quality laminated reels in a safe, efficient and well-organised environment.
The rate of pay is £14.41 per hour ( 3% increase from July ).
Overtime is paid at time and a half, Sundays and bank holidays at double time.
This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, 4 on 4 off , and the hours of work are:
- Days: 6am to 6pm
- Nights 6pm to 6am
Your Time at Work
As a Lamination Operator your duties include:
- Operating lamination machinery to produce laminated reels to specification
- Selecting film, materials and operating supplies for each job
- Completing safe, efficient machine set-ups
- Carrying out in-process inspection checks and ensuring the product meets the specification
- Unloading, palletising and packaging finished product
- Completing production reports accurately in Mills/SAP systems
- Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working area
- Monitoring machine operation and problem-solving issues
- Reporting maintenance needs to prevent breakdowns
- Reworking non-conforming product when required
- Managing waste skips and general housekeeping
- Updating Daily Management boards
- Supporting additional tasks as required
