Location: Somerset with occasional travel in the South West. 4 days per week on site, 1 day working from home.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Regional People Advisor to join our team on a permanent contract on a full-time basis to be a fundamental part of the team and support us in meeting our commitments and regional People Plan. You will be based at our site in Somerset. You will provide generalist employee relations support to our employees, getting involved with day to day People activities to provide onsite assistance and guidance to our management team and employees. This is a fast moving role that will suit someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys driving positive change with a heavy focus on Employee Relations. We're seeking someone who can bring new perspectives and help the team develop and refine our processes as we continue to evolve.

How you will make an impact:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR matters, including employee relations, disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance management, ensuring all associated documentation and records are accurately completed and maintained.
  • Support managers in investigations and the just & fair resolution of employee concerns, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and practices are consistently applied and aligned with legislation.
  • Contribute to the regional People Plan and processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate People records and documentation in line with GDPR and company standards.
  • Support the embedding of performance management processes, guiding managers with goal setting, annual reviews and feedback mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with wider People Team to deliver initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, wellbeing and workplace culture.
  • Support People projects focused on the employee experience, process efficiency and system improvements.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding activities where required, including coordinating hiring processes, advising managers on recruitment best practice and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline People operations and improve service delivery.
