As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a motivated and commercially focused Business Development Executive to help identify opportunities, build relationships and generate new business.

The Role

  • You'll be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities across a range of sectors, engaging with prospective customers and building strong relationships that contribute to continued business growth.
  • With access to an established CRM, existing prospect data, marketing-generated leads and a respected brand, you'll have the tools needed to focus on what you do best: developing opportunities and winning business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers across target sectors
  • Conduct discovery calls and virtual meetings with prospective customers
  • Manage and develop a healthy sales pipeline
  • Follow up enquiries, introductions and marketing-generated leads
  • Work closely with the wider commercial team to progress opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting
  • Support account growth, customer retention and cross-selling opportunities

About You

  • Experience in business development, sales, lead generation, account management or a similar commercial role
  • A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships
  • Experience managing opportunities through a sales pipeline
  • CRM experience and strong organisational skills
  • A proactive, resilient and results-driven mindset
  • Commercial awareness and a genuine passion for winning new business

Desirable

  • Experience within safety products, compliance, facilities management, engineering or technical B2B sectors
  • HubSpot or similar CRM experience
  • Consultative or solution-based selling experience
  • Experience working with NHS, education, public sector or commercial customers
