Were recruiting a Surface Grinder Operator to join a leading manufacturing and rolling-mill operation in Shropshire. The Surface Grinder Operator will operate roll-grinding machinery, support production and maintain accuracy, safety and quality. And receive a salary of £36,656. This SurfaceGrinder Operator role runs on a four-shift rotation of two days and two nights, totalling 42 hours.
The SurfaceGrinder Operator will carry out machine setup, safe operation, basic maintenance and housekeeping. Youll use micrometers, verniers and dial indicators to check roll dimensions and finish, and log data through digital HMIs. An abrasive-wheel qualification is required.
