The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a Production Planner for their client based in Braintree, Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding, industry leading and customer focused company with a vision of continuing to grow their reputation as world leaders in their field.

Role will focus on

  • Liaising with production personnel and customer services/sales departments.
  • Estimating material usage and arranging sub contract engineering services.
  • Review/implement routes of manufacture.
  • Estimate machining/manufacturing times required for each production operation.
  • Produce route cards, works orders and requisitions for manufacture.
  • Developing a strong understanding of organisation's structure, policies and processes, recommending appropriate solutions and improvements.
  • Helping in the continuous improvement of ERP processes.
  • Contributing to the ERP frequency-based activities, such as month-end processing, annual reporting and data maintenance.

Essentials

  • Fully computer literate and have experience of using Microsoft office packages, training will be provided on bespoke in house systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with multi discipline departments.
  • Customer focused attitude.

Desirable:
* Experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
* Production/manufacturing and sales order scheduling (site specific training can be provided on in house systems)

Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday: 7.30am - 4.00pm
Friday: 7.30am - 3.00pm. 39-hours per week.
