Location: This role will initially be based in Bradford but we are moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026, so you’ll be based there in the future - Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office a week Bradford/Leeds)

AMP8 represents Yorkshire Water's largest and most ambitious capital investment programme to date, delivering significant investment in infrastructure, environmental improvements and customer outcomes across the region. Successful delivery of the Programme is underpinned by strong alignment across programme delivery, engineering, commercial, procurement and supply chain functions.
The Supply Chain Strategy & Integration Manager is the strategic lead for demand intelligence, market insight and supply chain readiness across the AMP8 portfolio. The role connects programme ambition with market capability, ensuring future investment plans are supported by the right supply chain capacity, commercial strategies and market capability. Operating across multiple business functions and with significant visibility at Senior Leadership Team level, the role provides strategic insight, challenge and foresight to support delivery planning, commercial strategy and supply chain resilience. It ensures that delivery ambitions remain aligned to market capacity, supplier capability and future programme requirements, helping the organisation proactively identify risks, opportunities and delivery constraints before they impact performance.
Where you fit in: As our Supply Chain Strategy & Integration Manager you will be:
- Acting as a strategic adviser to senior leaders on programme deliverability, market conditions, supply chain capability and commercial readiness.
- Leading demand intelligence activities to improve visibility, confidence and readiness for future delivery requirements.
- Providing an integrated view of future demand, procurement pipelines, contract capacity and supply chain resilience across the AMP8 portfolio.
- Using market intelligence and industry engagement to identify emerging trends, risks, opportunities and potential delivery constraints to ensure delivery plans remain achievable, affordable and aligned to market realities.
- Shaping commercial strategies to support an integrated supply chain, influencing a category management approach to drive an efficient, sustainable and resilient programme delivery.
- Leading strategic supplier engagement and the Supply Chain Hub to strengthen collaboration, performance and long-term delivery capability.
- Driving integration across programme, engineering, commercial and operational teams to support joined-up planning and decision-making.
- Promoting innovation and continuous improvement through the development of effective commercial approaches, delivery models and supplier relationships.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
- Strong commercial and procurement experience within large-scale infrastructure, utilities or capital delivery environments.
- Proven experience in demand management, integrating programme, commercial, procurement and supply chain activities.
- Strategic commercial approach to Category Management, procurement planning and Supplier relationship management.
- Skilled at influencing and building relationships with senior stakeholders across complex organisations.
- A collaborative leader who builds trust, drives continuous improvement and role models organisational values and behaviours.
- Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to turn complex challenges into clear commercial solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience driving value, managing costs and supporting contract performance.
- Solid understanding of UK water sector regulations, commercial models and delivery frameworks.
- Demonstrate professional and equivalent experience.
- Preference qualified in Commercial, Procurement or Supply Chain Management (MCIPS, MRICS, IACCM or similar) or ability to demonstrate equivalent commercial expertise.
