HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers Vehicle Recovery Operator (North West - Lancaster Area) Join Macadams A Trusted Name in Vehicle Recovery for Over 60 Years
Macadams is a well-established family business with over five decades in the breakdown and recovery industry. We are currently seeking HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers to join our team as Vehicle Recovery Operators (VROs).
In this role, you will drive and operate various HGVs equipped with specialist recovery equipment to assist with the loading, transportation, and unloading of broken-down and accident-damaged vehicles.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a company that takes pride in supporting local police authorities, major breakdown organisations, and their customers in vehicle recovery and roadside assistance.
Job Details - Shift Pattern : 4 on, 4 off (rotating)
- Shift Length: Choice of 10 or 12-hour shifts
- Shifts Available: Day & Night
- On-Call Duties: Required due to the nature of the role
- Training: Full training provided
- Pay: Competitive rates (discussed at interview)
- Uniform & PPE: Fully supplied
What Were Looking For - HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence (with valid CPC & Tacho Card)
- Previous industry experience (preferred but not essential)
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
- Professionalism Clean and presentable at all times
- Strong communication skills
- Forklift training (preferred but not essential)
