An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Management Accountant to join my clients team in their Newcastle offices.
The Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our team.
This role will involve supporting the preparation of management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for a varied client portfolio.
Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will contribute to financial analysis and reporting, helping clients make informed business decisions and achieve their strategic objectives.
The position offers exposure to a range of sectors and provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your technical and commercial accounting skills.
Key Responsibilities Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts.
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
Producing financial reports and performance analysis.
Supporting clients with financial information and management reporting requirements.
Identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for business improvement.
Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity.
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Supporting ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
Skills & Experience Essential A minimum of 2 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
Experience preparing management accounts and financial reports.
Proficiency in accounting software, including: Xero Sage Microsoft Excel Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, with a willingness to travel to client premises when required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Desirable Currently studying towards, or holding, a relevant qualification such as: AAT ACA ACCA CIMA
