Our client in Bournemouth is seeking a skilled Hardware Team Leader to join them on a 3 month initial contract basis. This contract role is ideal for those with a strong background in IT analysis and IT support, looking to make a significant impact on hardware operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a team of IT analysts and support staff in delivering high-quality hardware solutions
  • Coordinate and manage hardware installations, maintenance, and upgrades
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware-related issues
  • Develop and implement hardware policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency
  • Monitor hardware performance and ensure systems are running optimally
  • Collaborate with other departments to align hardware capabilities with business needs
  • Stay updated with the latest hardware technologies and recommend improvements
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for hardware maintenance
  • Work with third party suppliers to ensure fit for purpose and value for money hardware solutions for the business

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in IT analysis and IT support
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team
  • Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective hardware policies
  • Understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent experience

This role will be to start in September paying in the region of £275-£300 a day inside IR35.
