Meridian Business Support are recruiting for a Clinical Lead (Registered Nurse) to join a well-established care home in Partington. This is a key leadership role ideal for an experienced Nurse looking to step into or build on clinical leadership within elderly care. You will combine hands-on nursing with team leadership, ensuring high standards of care and clinical governance across the service.

The role:

  • Lead, support and mentor the nursing and care team to deliver safe, person-centred care
  • Take responsibility for clinical governance including audits, compliance and best practice
  • Carry out assessments, care planning and reviews to meet residents' needs
  • Act as a role model on shift, making sound clinical decisions and remaining calm under pressure
  • Support training and development of staff to improve clinical standards
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding procedures and DoLS

Skills and experience:

  • You must be NMC registered with relevant post-registration experience
  • Experience leading or supervising a team within a care home or similar setting
  • Strong understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding, audits and compliance
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
