Join Our Team for Ongoing Flexible Chef Shifts Across Edinburgh. Off to Work is currently looking for reliable and flexible General Chefs to support a variety of kitchens across Edinburgh. With a busy period ahead and consistent demand from our clients, this is a great opportunity for chefs seeking flexible work to fit around their schedule. We are particularly interested in chefs who are available 2-3 days between Monday and Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard
  • Working across different sections of the kitchen as required
  • Supporting kitchen teams during busy service periods
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
  • Adapting quickly to different kitchens and team environments

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working as a General Chef or similar level
  • Contract catering experience preferred, but not essential
  • Ability to confidently work across all sections of the kitchen
  • Availability for 2-3 weekdays (Monday to Friday)
  • Professional, reliable, and adaptable attitude
  • Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 (Free accredited training available if required)
