If you're a Solution Architect who enjoys solving complex business problems, influencing technology direction, and working at enterprise scale, this is an opportunity worth exploring.

We're partnered with a leading global Financial Services organisation seeking a Solution Architect to join a high-performing architecture function responsible for shaping the future of a business that supports millions of customers, investors and corporate stakeholders worldwide. This is a genuinely broad role, offering the chance to work across a diverse technology estate spanning customer-facing platforms, core business applications, data services, integrations and cloud technologies. You'll partner with senior business and technology leaders to turn strategic objectives into practical, scalable, secure solutions that deliver real business value.

Rather than simply reviewing designs, you'll play a key role in driving technology decisions, influencing roadmaps, reducing complexity, modernising legacy platforms and helping shape the long-term architecture strategy of a globally recognised organisation.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading solution architecture across major technology initiatives and business-critical programmes
  • Shaping future-state platforms, application landscapes and technology roadmaps
  • Working closely with product, engineering, infrastructure and business teams to define solution approaches
  • Driving modernisation and cloud adoption strategies
  • Promoting architectural best practice, governance and reusable design patterns
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, helping navigate complex technical and commercial decisions
  • Supporting a business at the heart of shareholder, governance and corporate administration services

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect within a complex enterprise environment
  • Strong background designing large-scale applications, platforms and integrations
  • Experience with cloud technologies and modern architecture patterns
  • Knowledge of APIs, integration services, data flows and enterprise application ecosystems
  • Ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience delivering architecture across large transformation or modernisation programmes
  • Financial Services experience would be beneficial but is not essential

Why consider this opportunity?

  • Global remit with exposure to senior stakeholders across multiple regions
  • Opportunity to influence architecture strategy, not just project delivery
  • Large-scale transformation and modernisation programmes
  • Complex, business-critical technology landscape
  • Strong architecture community and collaborative culture
  • Significant autonomy and visibility across the organisation

This is an excellent opportunity for a Solution Architect who wants to operate at enterprise scale, influence major technology decisions and help shape the future direction of a market-leading Financial Services organisation.
