They are recruiting for a self-sufficient Water Hygiene Engineer to service commercial and local authority premises across the region. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong technical experience and full understanding of industry safety guidelines. Our client is renowned for supporting fantastic further training and longevity within the industry. Experience / Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
- Good knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- It would be advantageous to hold industry related qualifications
- Hardworking attitude
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Comfortable working to agreed deadlines
The Role:
- Conducting a wide range of L8 compliance duties across varied client sites
- Showerhead and outlet descales
- Basic flushing on outlets
- Calorifier inspections
- Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
- Chlorinations
- Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Completing regular service reports
