JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - packaging machinery, food manufacturing
A classic Field Service Engineer role working on installation, commissioning, repair & refurbishment of packaging machines used in the food manufacturing industry. You will be staying away 1 night per week on average with almost no weekend work required as 90% of your work will be on client sites in the Northwest. Overtime is paid door to door at 1.5 x outside core hours and double at night and over weekends. Full product training in the UK and Europe, with on site mentoring from a senior Engineer for the first 6 months.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - packaging machinery, food manufacturing
- You will be an experienced food factory Maintenance Engineer ideally having hands on experience of working with packaging machinery.
- We will also consider experienced Field Service Engineers with hands on experience of packaging machinery used in the food manufacturing markets.
- You MUST be a qualified Multi skilled Engineer with ideally a full apprenticeship up to HNC level in Electrical & Electronic engineering.
- 18th Edition & PLC knowledge would be advantageous.
