Great customer relationships don't stop when the Field Sales Rep leaves the meeting. As an Internal Account Manager, you'll work closely with a field-based sales representative, providing the office support that keeps customers engaged, orders moving and expectations met. You'll be working in tandem with the person driving sales in the field, becoming a consistent point of contact for customers between visits. From keeping in touch and developing relationships to handling quotations, orders and product enquiries, you'll help turn sales activity into a smooth customer experience and ongoing business.

Your responsibilities as Internal Account Manager:
- Work closely with a field-based sales representative, providing day-to-day office support and helping ensure customer expectations are met
- Maintain regular contact with customers between field visits, strengthening relationships and keeping opportunities moving
- Manage customer orders from initial enquiry through to processing, keeping customers informed and resolving queries along the way
- Prepare and follow up quotations while responding to warm enquiries from existing, lapsed and prospective customers
- Develop ongoing business by understanding customer requirements and identifying opportunities for repeat orders
- Liaise with head office regarding stock availability, products and marketing activity to support customers and field sales activity
What we're looking for in an Internal Account Manager:
- Background in sales support, internal sales, sales administration or another B2B telephone-based office environment
- Experience supporting a sales function and managing customer enquiries, quotations or orders
- Knowledge of a technology-led sector such as IT or electronics would be advantageous
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience maintaining business customer relationships and supporting the sales process
