Are you a Field Service Engineer with a background working on diesel or gas engines looking to join a market-leading power generation specialist, where you'll receive attractive overtime rates, industry-leading training, and work on critical energy infrastructure across Greater Manchester?
This is an opportunity to join a leading international power generation specialist established in 1985. With over 200 employees, the business designs, manufactures, installs and maintains CHP, gas engine, biogas, landfill gas and battery storage systems that help industrial and public sector clients reduce emissions and improve energy efficiency.
In this role, you will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on gas and diesel engine installations across Greater Manchester. You'll diagnose and implement reactive maintenance, optimise operational processes, and work closely with customers to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
This role would suit a Field Service Engineer with experience on diesel engines, gas engines or similar equipment, looking to join a well-established business offering excellent training, overtime and long-term career progression.
The Role:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on gas and diesel engines
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Optimise engine performance and operational efficiency
- Complete service reports and liaise with customers
The Person:
- Level 2+ engineering qualification (ONC, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of gas/diesel engines
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Happy to work on a 24-hour callout rota
