Overview An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) to join a growing legal practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' PQE , although more experienced applicants will also be considered.
The firm is particularly keen to appoint someone with strong divorce law experience , as this is a key area of growth for the department. You'll manage your own caseload of privately funded family matters while providing high-quality legal advice and excellent client care.
Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of private family law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
Advise clients on divorce, financial remedy proceedings, and child arrangement orders.
Conduct advocacy and represent clients at court hearings where required.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Ensure all matters are handled efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
Support the continued development of the family law department.
Requirements Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX).
Ideally 3-5 years' PQE in family law (more experienced candidates are welcome to apply).
Strong experience handling divorce matters is essential.
Experience with financial settlements and child arrangement orders.
Confident advocate with excellent communication and client care skills.
Ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
