We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver/Installers for a permanent position with our client.
This role involves delivering and installing products at various locations, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Nights out required.
The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the physical capability to handle heavy lifting.
Duties
Safely operate company vehicles
Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation
Install products accurately according to specifications and client requirements
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
Follow health and safety protocols at all times during driving and installation tasks
Skills
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving commercial driving
Valid UK drivers licence with no more than 6 penalty points
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items safely
This role requires you to be willing to work away from home for one or two nights per week.
You will be provided with accommodation at Travelodge hotels with an allowance to cover your evening meal/breakfast.
For the installation side of the role you will need to have experience of using power tools.
