Do you like building individual and niche machinery which has various applications for various industries? I am working with an exceptional and niche business, who have recently relocated to the Bognor Regis Area. They are well known within their industry and are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter, who has the skills and experience to:
- Build machinery from drawings and work cards using the appropriate tools
- Work with the design team to overcome any problems in the build phase
- Fabricate and alter parts as required
- Ensure you work in a safe way whilst adhering to all H&S procedures
- Ensure all tools and equipment are used correctly and maintained
- Fit and connect motors and drives (from drawing)
About you:
- You will likely be educated to C&G/HNC level within Mechanical Engineering
- It’s likely that you have worked as a machine tool fitter or Mechanical Fitter in a similar type of role
- Experience of working with hydraulics and/or pneumatics
- Be able to follow engineering drawings and schematics or build sheets
- Have a flexible approach to work
