Are you an experienced Welder/Fabricator looking to move into an office-based technical role?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering business where you can develop your skills across technical administration, estimating and production coordination.

The Role
Working closely with management, production and customers, you'll help turn customer enquiries and engineering drawings into successful manufacturing projects.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Preparing quotations from customer drawings and specifications
  • Reviewing engineering drawings and understanding manufacturing requirements
  • Producing and amending Auto CAD drawings
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding technical queries
  • Supporting production with technical information
  • Preparing job packs and manufacturing documentation
  • Maintaining drawing revisions and engineering documentation
  • Updating internal factory management systems
  • Supporting the estimating process
  • Developing an understanding of manufacturing costs
  • Assisting with production coordination as your experience develops
  • Helping resolve technical queries throughout the manufacturing process
