Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who are recruiting for a Housing Support Worker in Blackburn, Manchester. The successful candidate will be allocated a number of shifts with some late nights up to 8pm and occasional weekend work.
Responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker include:
- Working with a variety of clients with complex needs including homelessness, substance misuse and young offenders
- Signposting clients to other services within the community
- Completing housing benefit, council tax and universal credit claims
- Conducting risk and needs assessments
Requirements of the Housing Support Worker:
- Enhanced DBS
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexibility around shifts - including some late nights and weekend work
