TSM Technical are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK specialist in industrial doors and loading bay equipment. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, we're looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join their Midlands team.

The Role:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the industrial and commercial sectors.
- Carrying out customer site surveys and accurately assessing project requirements.
- Producing detailed technical quotations, estimates and proposals.
- Managing projects from enquiry through to completion.
- Building long-term relationships with customers, contractors and key stakeholders.
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
- Providing technical advice and recommending the most appropriate products and solutions.
- Achieving agreed sales targets whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience.
About You:
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with commercial awareness and enjoys building lasting customer relationships. Ideally, you'll have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience within the industrial door industry.
- Previous experience in Technical Sales, Estimating, Sales Engineering, Project Management or Contracts Management.
- Experience carrying out site surveys and producing technical quotations.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and quotation software.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Midlands and surrounding areas to visit customer sites.
