Established in the 1800's, this long-standing heavy engineering specialist delivers high-integrity forged and machined components into critical sectors including aerospace, defence, marine, nuclear, oil & gas and power generation.

The company focuses on large-scale, complex, tight-tolerance components, offering in-house open die forging, machining, heat treatment and testing capabilities.

In this role, you will work on a variety of machine tools and production equipment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.

Working a rotating days shift, you'll support production by keeping machinery running safely and efficiently while working closely with the wider maintenance team.

The role would suit a service engineer with experience maintaining machine tools or heavy industrial equipment, looking to join a well-established manufacturer where they can work on specialist machinery within a stable and supportive engineering environment.

Role: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on machine tools and production equipment.

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.

Responding to machine breakdowns to minimise production downtime.

Working a permanent rotating days shift (06:00-16:00 Monday-Thursday / 06:00-14:00 Monday-Friday).
