Implement. Improve. Challenge. Make ERP Actually Work for the Customer. Great ERP consultants don’t just implement software; they transform how businesses work. This is a role for an experienced ERP consultant who wants more than project delivery. You’ll stay close to the customer, own the outcome and help businesses get genuine, lasting value from their ERP system. You’ll combine commercial insight, technical expertise and hands-on problem-solving across the entire customer journey from discovery and implementation to go-live, optimisation and ongoing success.

- Permanent | Full Time
Your Expertise:
- ERP Implementation
- Customer Success

- SQL
- Change & Optimisation
- Training
- Data and Operational Systems
The Opportunity:
We build ERP software that helps ambitious UK businesses run their day-to-day operations from orders, stock, purchasing and warehouse processes to fulfilment, reporting, finance and customer service. Customers don’t just need software configured. They need someone who can understand how their business works, guide them through change and make sure the system genuinely improves how they operate.
As a Senior ERP Consultant, you’ll work directly with both new and established customers. You’ll deliver implementations, improve existing setups, educate users, solve operational problems and make sure customers see the value of the system. You’ll be the trusted expert on the ground running discovery sessions, mapping business processes, challenging assumptions, configuring practical solutions, supporting go-lives and helping users build confidence.
This is a small, agile and fast-moving software business, so this isn’t a narrow caretaker role. You’ll get involved beyond the traditional boundaries of implementation, helping shape how projects are delivered, how the product develops and how customers are supported.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering ERP implementation projects across different industries.
- Leading optimisation, improvement and change projects within existing customer environments.
- Understanding customer workflows and translating them into practical ERP solutions.
- Running discovery, requirements gathering, process mapping, training and go-live support.
- Configuring solutions and supporting customers through implementation and adoption.
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and day-to-day users.
- Challenging customer assumptions constructively when there’s a better way to achieve the outcome.
- Using SQL and data investigation to support configuration, troubleshooting and validation.
- Working closely with Support, Product and Development to resolve issues and improve delivery.
- Feeding customer insight back into the business to improve the product, process and customer experience.
- Helping shape how implementation and Customer Success are delivered as the business grows.
About You:
This isn’t a role for someone who has simply administered an ERP platform internally. You’ll be an experienced ERP consultant who understands implementation, operational processes and what it takes to guide customers successfully through change. You’ll bring:
- At least five years experience implementing, consulting on or advising around ERP systems.
- Proven experience delivering successful ERP implementations and strong customer outcomes.
- Experience improving, optimising or leading change within existing ERP customer environments.
- Strong knowledge of processes such as stock, purchasing, order management, fulfilment, finance and reporting.
- Solid SQL and technical capability, with the confidence to investigate data and get under the hood when required.
- Experience running discovery, requirements gathering and business process mapping.
- Confidence training users and working with non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge, guide and influence.
- The ability to bring structure and calm when customers are under pressure.
- A practical, proactive mindset and willingness to get involved wherever the customer or wider business needs you.
- The flexibility to travel extensively across the UK and stay away from home regularly.
What This Role Isn’t:
This isn’t a desk-only ERP configuration role. You won’t spend your working life sitting remotely and configuring tickets somebody else has scoped. You’ll work with real businesses, real operational pressure and sometimes messy problems. You’ll need the technical confidence to investigate issues properly, alongside the commercial judgement to understand what the customer is really trying to achieve. Equally, this isn’t purely a new implementation role. A significant part of your value will come from returning to established customers, identifying where they could be getting more from their ERP environment and leading the improvements needed to make that happen.
The Travel:
This is a genuinely field-based, customer-facing position. You’ll travel extensively across the UK to work directly with customers, including regular overnight stays away from home. If you enjoy getting out from behind the screen, understanding customer operations first-hand and becoming their trusted ERP expert, it could be exactly what you’re looking for.
Why Join?
- £55,000 - £65,000 salary.
- Car allowance plus additional company benefits.
- Genuine ownership of customer outcomes.
- Variety across implementations, optimisation and operational problem-solving.
- Direct access to leadership within a small, agile business.
- The opportunity to influence project delivery, product development and Customer Success.
- A role where your commercial, operational and technical expertise are equally valued.
- The chance to see the real-world impact of the solutions you deliver.
Ready to Own the Outcome?
If you enjoy getting close to customers, understanding how their businesses really operate and turning ERP technology into measurable improvements, we’d love to meet you. Bring your ERP expertise, SQL capability, commercial judgement and willingness to get out there with customers and help make sure powerful software delivers powerful results.
