Responsibilities of a Senior Door Engineer
You'll be reporting to the Doors and Security Manager and be expected to be in control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of automatic swing and sliding automated entrance systems as well as Industrial doors within a local postcode area.
Other technicians will call if they have issues, and you'll play a key part in arranging future interviews for potential new members of staff.
Each day you'll also be working with an assortment of equipment from Automatic Doors to Industrial roller shutters, You will be expected to manage your own work in progress, ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, whilst communicating with your line manager of any issues the area is experiencing.
You'll attend regular training courses and management meetings whilst being an active team player sustaining the company's fantastic reputation and future growth.
Essential requirements of a successful Senior Door Engineer
- EN16005, IPAF, PASMA
- Previous practical experience working on swing, sliding entrance systems and industrial door systems
- Confident in your product knowledge and able to offer advice to other quickly when required
- Electrical, welding or hydraulics experience * Strong leadership skills
- Working to deadlines and time management
- Problem solving
Salary and Benefits for a Senior Door Engineer
- Attractive starting salary package of £48,500 basic OTE circa £65k+ in your first year
- Overtime rates paid at 1.5 minimum
