This established, multi-office practice is renowned for delivering technically complex and highly regulated projects across healthcare, residential, education and public sector environments. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and collaborative project delivery, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to support a growing portfolio of acute healthcare schemes.
The Birmingham team offers the opportunity to work within a close-knit and highly collaborative studio environment while benefiting from the backing, stability, and project exposure of a larger national practice. The successful candidates will play a key role in the technical delivery of live healthcare projects, working on schemes from detailed design through to construction and completion.
Job Overview- Work predominantly across RIBA Stages 4-7 on technically complex healthcare projects
- Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages using Revit
- Support the delivery of acute healthcare schemes and other large-scale public sector developments
- Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and specialist design teams
- Translate technical requirements into robust and compliant construction solutions
- Assist with project coordination, technical detailing, and construction-stage information
- Contribute to the delivery of projects within highly regulated environments
- Support project delivery to programme, quality, and technical standards
- Work within a collaborative and technically focused studio environment
- Play an active role in supporting the continued growth of the Birmingham office
- Strong Revit proficiency (essential)
- Experience working on UK-based projects within an architectural practice
- Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge
- Experience working across RIBA Stages 4-7 preferred
- Healthcare project experience advantageous but not essential
- Technically focused and delivery-oriented approach
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within project teams
