We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV,meteringand home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Metering team ,youlljoin the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas,electricityand water meters. Our meter readers install,maintainand manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns aremonitored. Want to come and be a part of it?
What will you be doing?
Youllinvestigate, detect, and prevent gas and electricity theft in residential and commercial properties.Youllbe responsible formaking sure installations are made safe and will work with the supplier to agree what further action is to be taken.You'llcollect evidence and provide information to the client to decide next steps.
Youllbe involved in debt recovery work; this may include carrying out metering tasks such as installing a SMART meter or de-energising/disconnecting the supply.
Do you take pride in your customer service skills? As a Revenue ProtectionOfficeryoullbe proud of your work anddemonstrateprofessionalism and integrity.Youllalsohave the ability toremain calm and professional and confronting situations.
Do you want career progression?Previousexperience as a Revenue Protection Officer or in conflict management would be useful but not essential in this role; allyoullneed is a positive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
Whatyoullbring Valid UK driving licence - You must have a full UK licence and have less than 6 points.
CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 with MET1
For Dual Fuel applicants: CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 with MET1
NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) / MOCOPA
Experience installing gas and electric smart meters
Strong customer service background with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
Nice to have (but not essential): 3-phase qualification / CT / Medium Pressure
