Working hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm & Friday 8:00am-3:30pm

Contract Type: Temp to Perm opportunity after successful trial period

We are looking for an experienced Press Setter / Tool Maker to join our prestigious client based in Birmingham. This is a dual-function role working as part of an experienced team. The successful candidate must have previous experience in power press and presswork setting. Experience in tool making would be highly advantageous, but we are also happy to consider someone with the right attitude and aptitude who is keen to learn and develop their tool-making skills.

The Role

You will be responsible for setting and operating press machinery while also supporting the manufacture, maintenance and development of press tooling. We have a range of specialist machinery, including:

  • Sweeney & Blocksidge power presses
  • Bentley power presses
  • Platarg multistage transfer presses

Previous experience working with any of these machines would be an advantage. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to learn from and be trained by our experienced in-house Tool Maker, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their skills and develop a career in tool making.
