Right Hire Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers (Category C) for a leading logistics company based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work with Monday to Friday shifts, competitive pay rates and the opportunity to secure a permanent role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Driving a modern HGV Class 2 vehicle
- Completing up to 8 palletised deliveries per shift
- No handball forklift/offload at delivery points
- Completing vehicle checks and paperwork
- Providing excellent customer service
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Shift Information
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 AM starts
- Approximately 10-hour shifts
- Ongoing work available immediately
Pay Rates
£17.00 - £20.00 per hour
Driver Requirements
- Valid Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months' HGV Class 2 driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points (No DR, DD or IN convictions)
- Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Reliable, professional attitude with good communication skills
