This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of commercial assurance, supporting cost verification audits across a diverse range of projects and clients. You will play an important part in helping clients achieve transparency, accountability and value for money through robust cost analysis and audit support.
Working alongside experienced commercial and audit professionals, you will develop specialist expertise while contributing to work that directly supports informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Verifying supplier and contractor costs in collaboration with commercial teams
- Analysing financial and commercial data to identify variances, trends and risks
- Supporting audit planning, evidence gathering and documentation
- Maintaining clear, accurate and well-structured audit records
- Building effective working relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders
- Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of cost verification processes
You will demonstrate:
- A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- You are a qualified QS
- An interest in financial, commercial or audit-based work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, while managing independent tasks
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to learning
- Experience or an academic background in finance, audit, commercial management or data analysis
