The role of the Area Sales Manager Kitchen Worktops/ slabs will involve:
- Field sales role selling a manufactured range of large format slabs for kitchen worktops.
- Acting as a product champion for large format slabs in the South of the country.
- 70% of your time managing and developing circa 100 kitchen studios and independent kitchen and bathroom retailers.
- 30% of your time managing and growing approx. 10-15 stonemasons/ worktop fabricators.
- Growing kitchen worktop revenue from £175,000 to £250,000 in year one.
- Circa 15 customer visits per week.
- Overnight stays when required, covering a large area.
- Travel 3-4 times a year to Spain and Italy.
- Assisting with merchandising, training, developing and nurturing kitchen studios, kitchen & bathroom retailers as required.
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Kitchen Worktops/ Slabs with:
- Must have kitchen worktops field sales experience, will consider a mix of worktop slabs and tiles.
- 2 years+ field sales experience.
- Prior experience of having sold into kitchen studios, merchants, retail showrooms, stonemasons or worktop fabricators desirable.
- Hardworking/ honest.
- Professional and prepared with strong organisation and territory management capability.
- Prepared to do high UK mileage and happy to travel abroad when required.
