A busy Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit is recruiting for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team. They are seeking someone to cover contracts in the North West of England, including commercial and public sector premises of varying size.
Applicants must be confident in carrying out a wide range of ACOP L8 compliance tasks, including:
- Showerhead descales
- Water sampling
- Calorifier inspections

Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have worked as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a reputable outfit
- Good technical knowledge, including ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- It would support applications if you hold industry training / qualifications
- Able to work independently on site when needed
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficient using IT software
The Role:
- Showerhead and outlet descales
- TMV maintenance and servicing
- Outlet flushes
- Inspections, cleans and disinfections on storage tanks
- Calorifier inspections and blowdowns
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- Completing regular service reports
