We're looking for a Credit Controller to join our clients growing team and play a key role in supporting both their clients and their business.

This is more than a collections role, it's an opportunity to become a trusted partner, helping clients manage their accounts while contributing to the continued success of a friendly and ambitious team.

As the Credit Controller, you'll ensure outstanding balances are collected efficiently while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, insurers, and colleagues.

You'll work closely with the Account Executives and Finance team to resolve queries, reduce aged debt, and help deliver a first-class customer experience.

Duties of

Credit

Controller:
Proactively managing and reducing aged debt across a varied client portfolio via phone, email and letter
Building strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.

Investigating and resolving payment queries promptly.

Allocating receipts and maintaining accurate customer account records.

Producing debtor reports and supporting month-end processes.

Working collaboratively with Account Executives to resolve outstanding issues.

Identifying opportunities to improve credit control processes and efficiencies.

Ensuring compliance with company procedures and FCA standards.

We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in credit control, accounts receivable or a similar finance role.

A confident and professional communicator.

Organised, accurate and able to manage multiple priorities.

Skilled at building positive relationships while having confident payment conversations.

A proactive problem solver with excellent attention to detail.

Comfortable using finance systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Experience within insurance or financial services is desirable but not essentialwe value attitude and willingness to learn.
