We are currently recruiting for experienced M&E Site Managers to work on two school projects in East London. Both projects are M&E-heavy, so candidates must have a strong mechanical and electrical background and proven experience managing M&E works on live construction projects.
The Role
- As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the project, with a particular focus on the M&E elements.
- You will be working closely with subcontractors, the project management team and other site personnel to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally on M&E-heavy projects.
- Strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background.
- Previous experience working on school, education or similar live-site projects is highly desirable.
- SMSTS.
- First Aid.
- Enhanced DBS essential due to the school environment.
- Strong knowledge of site health & safety requirements.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage M&E subcontractors and coordinate works effectively.
- A strong understanding of construction programmes, RAMS and site procedures.
Important: Enhanced DBS is essential for these positions. Candidates without an Enhanced DBS will not be considered due to the nature of the projects.
