Shift Leader FM Service Provider Canary Wharf, London Up to £55,000 per annum
CBW is recruiting an experienced Shift Leader to join the engineering team at a prestigious Grade A commercial office building in the heart of Canary Wharf's financial district.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer to work within a modern, high-specification building, delivering first-class building maintenance across a technically advanced environment occupied by leading commercial and financial organisations.

- Continental Shift Pattern Days & Nights 07:00am to 19:00pm & 19:00pm to 07:00am
- Key Duties
Lead, motivate and support the on-site shift engineering team.
Ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks are completed efficiently using the site's CAFM system.
Carry out hands-on electrical and/or mechanical maintenance when required.
Diagnose and rectify faults on plant and equipment, minimising downtime and ensuring business continuity.
Monitor the quality of maintenance activities, documentation and housekeeping standards across the site.
Manage spare parts and ensure critical stock levels are maintained.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports and job documentation.
Prepare, review and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure safe systems of work.
Support the delivery of a safe, compliant and high-performing building environment.
Requirements
Fully qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical building services.
Experience with critical systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, transformers and power distribution.
Previous experience leading an engineering shift team within a critical or large commercial environment.
Excellent fault-finding, communication and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional engineering standards.
