We are looking for an experienced culinary leader with a strong background in delivering high standards across weddings, corporate events, private functions and bespoke hospitality experiences.
Previous experience within events, banqueting or high-volume hospitality is highly desirable. However, exceptional Head Chefs from premium hospitality environments will also be considered. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic kitchen operation, lead and develop a professional brigade, shape the food offering and play a key role in the continued growth of the business.
The Role
- Leading all kitchen operations across a varied events calendar.
- Delivering consistently exceptional food and service across weddings, corporate events, private functions and bespoke events.
- Recruiting, developing and managing a professional kitchen brigade, including permanent, casual and agency staff.
- Planning staffing and resources to meet changing business demands.
- Maintaining exceptional food safety, hygiene and operational standards.
- Developing creative menus tailored to event themes, client preferences and budgets.
- Reviewing and developing menus, recipes and kitchen SOPs.
- Managing suppliers, purchasing, inventory and food costs.
- Working closely with Sales and Operations to support event profitability.
- Monitoring staffing and food costs and providing regular commercial reporting.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and presenting recommendations to senior management.

- Proven experience as a Head Chef
- A strong track record across weddings, corporate events, private functions and bespoke hospitality.
- Experience leading and developing a kitchen brigade.
- Strong culinary, menu development and food presentation skills.
- Excellent understanding of food and labour costs.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
