Government client is seeking a Deputy Director for Programme Delivery to provide delivery leadershipoverthe central programme management office, ensuring criticalprogrammescontinue with deliveryto timeduring a period ofleadershiptransition.
Key Aspects:
Delivery of a Portal(on gov.uk) and accompanyingCRM(private beta due November, public betago live February2027)
Industry business portal and CRM development, including the procurement of a new supplier, lead of the designed digital service solution on gov.uk
Lead supplier onboarding and mobilisation for new digital and data contracts
Supplier management for digital work at senior operational levels
Provide visible leadership to your project delivery teams, including product management and assurance, driving good performance across both business-as-usual and transformation activities, supporting an inclusive, innovative culture and leading by example.
Experience Required:
Experience of successfully delivering complex digital/data projects at pace.
Experienced in picking up live programmes managing delivery at pace, identifying and mitigating risks
Experience of delivering within GDS and GOV.UK frameworks
Experience of leading and managing teams through leadership changes with strong interpersonal
Strong supplier management and commercial skills, with a good knowledge of programme assurance
The Deputy Director for Programme Delivery is required for 9-12 months on a fixed term basis. Its a office based role with 2-3 days as a minimum expected in the office with occasion travel to other locations.
