This role for an experienced Project Accountant is a permanent position with our client who are a vibrant and expanding business in the Renewable Sector. They offer a friendly and open working environment.
The role is office based and is 40 hours per week - Mon to Fri. Reporting directly to senior management, the Project Accountant role will play a key part in strengthening financial controls, improving project visibility and supporting strategic decision-making. For the right candidate, the Project Accountant role will offer the opportunity for significant development within the business as they go through a period of planned growth.
SALARY AND BENEFITS: £40-50 K (DOE) plus pension
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monthly management accounts
- Project profitability reporting
- WIP analysis
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Cashflow management
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Commercial analysis
- Supporting annual accounts and audit processes
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified / part qualified
- Strong management accounting experience
- Construction, engineering or project-based business experience desirable
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Commercial mindset
