In this influential role, you will work closely with senior leaders, providing trusted financial advice, meaningful analysis and valuable insight to support decision making at the highest levels. You will also play a key part in strengthening our finance business partnering offer while leading and supporting a team of up to 20 finance professionals.

This role is key to shaping financial strategy, supporting robust budget management and providing clear insight, challenge and assurance to help services make informed and sustainable decisions. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a high-profile role within a forward-thinking finance service, supporting a large and diverse organisation serving over 350,000 residents, 600 services and over 100 maintained schools.

Duties include supporting a complex and high-profile directorate, providing financial leadership across children's services, families and schools at a time of significant demand, transformation and financial challenge.

You will have:
