We are recruiting an Assistant Restaurant Manager for an exceptional 5-star luxury resident hotel in Northumberland, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to take full responsibility for a beautiful restaurant within a stunning country estate.
The role offers an excellent work life balance as the shifts are either up until 6pm or 8pm.

This is a hands-on management position where you will take full responsibility for the restaurant, leading a small team and ensuring consistently excellent standards across service.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the restaurant, leading the team and ensuring residents receive an exceptional level of service and hospitality.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality management role and be a confident, proactive, and well-respected leader.
As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will:
Take full responsibility for the restaurant operation
Lead, motivate, and develop the team
Maintain exceptionally high standards of service and presentation
Manage stock orders, stock takes, and cashing up
Oversee staff management and line management
Engage with residents and build strong relationships
Introduce creative ideas to enhance the guest experience
Act as a key holder and ensure the smooth running of the operation
Maintain excellent organisational and administrative standards
You will be passionate about hospitality, naturally engaging with guests, and able to motivate a small team to consistently deliver excellent service.
Strong organisational and computer skills are essential, alongside a caring and compassionate approach.
Experience within a luxury hotel, residential, care, or similar guest-focused environment would be advantageous.
