Workshop powered access engineer required. Bennett and Game Recruitment are currently representing a Plant and Tool company that are looking for a Workshop Engineer in Bedford.

The ideal candidate will come from a strong electrical engineering background and will ideally have experience with powered access equipment.

Position Overview
  • Servicing, repairing and maintaining manual and electrically powered access equipment including Eco's, Peco's and scissor lifts
  • LOLER inspections on powered access equipment and other plant
  • Keeping service records up to date
  • Adhering to workshop health & safety rules and regulations

The fleet of powered access equipment is all electric. The role requires you to do 40 hours a week but there is flexibility on the hours you work. Free lunches are also provided, creating a good working environment. The client has a brand-new fully equipped indoor workshop in a central location in Bedford.

Position Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable
  • CAP qualification desirable but not essential
  • Strong electrical background in powered access or plant industry
  • Work well as a team and alone
  • Good administrative and organisational skills
  • Commutable distance of Bedford
Salary & Benefits
  • £35,000-£40,000 salary dependant on experience
