Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits An established and highly respected regional main contractor is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join its growing Digital Construction team.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced BIM Technician looking to progress into a coordination role or an established BIM Coordinator seeking a fresh challenge within a forward-thinking construction business.
Working across a diverse portfolio of projects including commercial, education, healthcare, research & development, automotive and industrial sectors, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality digital information throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to handover.
The Role Working closely with design teams, consultants, subcontractors and project delivery teams, you will support the successful implementation of BIM processes and digital construction standards across multiple live projects.
Key responsibilities include: Developing and coordinating BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
Producing technical drawings and project documentation using Revit and Auto CAD.
Managing project information within a Common Data Environment (CDE).
Reviewing Employer's Information Requirements (EIR) and Asset Information Requirements (AIR).
Supporting project delivery in accordance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
Undertaking clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks Manage.
Assisting with design validation throughout the project lifecycle.
Carrying out model audits across the various RIBA stages.
Visiting construction sites to verify installed works against coordinated models.
Preparing digital project information and model deliverables for project handover.
Promoting BIM best practice and supporting continuous improvement across the business.
Candidate Profile The successful candidate will be a collaborative and organised individual with strong technical skills and a passion for digital construction.
Applicants should ideally have experience of: BIM Coordination or BIM Technician duties within the construction industry.
Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage and Auto CAD.
Autodesk Re Cap and Trimble Sketch Up.
Model coordination, clash detection and digital construction processes.
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications Level 3 qualification (A Levels or equivalent) in a STEM or construction-related discipline.
HNC/HND or Level 4 qualification in Construction, Engineering or a related subject is advantageous.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
