We're recruiting on behalf of a prestigious independent school seeking an outstanding Director of Finance to join its Senior Leadership Team on either a full time or part time 4 days a week basis.
You'll work closely with the Headteacher and Governors, driving financial performance and shaping long-term strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who wants strategic influence but also flexible / part-time working.
The Opportunity You'll lead all aspects of finance while overseeing commercial operations, governance, risk and business planning.
Key responsibilities include: Leading financial strategy and long-term planning Managing budgets, forecasting and cashflow Presenting financial insight to the Board Delivering statutory accounts and audit Supporting major capital and development projects Leading and developing a high-performing finance team
About You You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with proven finance leadership experience.
You'll bring: Strategic commercial thinking Strong financial planning and analytical skills Inspirational leadership Excellent stakeholder management The ability to balance big-picture thinking with operational delivery
Experience within education / not-for-profit is desirable but not essential.
