The role
We are seeking an experienced Site Services Manager to lead specific site engineering and utilities operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of all site services.
You will oversee maintenance, statutory compliance, contractors, utilities, waste management, and critical infrastructure while supporting site performance improvements and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Manage site utilities and services including water treatment, AD plant, steam, HVAC, gas, and electrical systems
Ensure compliance with LOLER, PSSR, PUWER, GMP, and other statutory regulations
Lead planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities and contractor control processes
Act as Responsible Person/Duty Holder for key systems including HV/LV, ammonia, legionella, and steam systems
Manage budgets, maintenance spend, and capital projects
Drive continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and energy efficiency initiatives
Lead and develop the Site Services team while maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and performance
Skills & Experience
NEBOSH General Certificate
Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, pressure systems, legionella, ammonia, and confined spaces
Proven leadership and contractor management experience
Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Facilities Management qualification (desirable)
