We are looking for committed and detail-focused Senior Raw Materials Operatives to join our A & B Shift teams at our Nocton site. Working within the Celox and tipping areas, this role is critical in the collection and reporting of accurate operational data to support both our operational and commercial teams.

A Shift - Sunday-Tuesday, alternate Wednesday. 06:30-Finish

B Shift - Thursday-Saturday, alternate Wednesday. 06:30-Finish

Main Duties

  • Ownership and responsibility of the FIFO stores and reject area
  • Responsibility for all tipping area forklift truck drivers and acting as first point of contact
  • Providing an effective and efficient service to tipper drivers at all times
  • Exercising strict internal and external box control systems, liaising with production teams to avoid single boxes and reduce changeovers
  • Ensuring lines are continuously fed with the correct product to minimise downtime using all members of the team
  • Accurate weighing and recording of second pass material, including regular equipment checks such as weigh scales
  • Following hygiene schedules to ensure the area remains clean, tidy, and visit ready at all times
  • Taking full responsibility for the area and escalating issues to management when necessary
  • Reporting issues relating to equipment including FLTs and tippers
  • Conducting regular team briefs
  • Supporting other departments where required, including forklift truck driver cover
  • Leading the team in line with company policies and procedures
  • Adhering to all health and safety policies and reporting incidents or near misses through the appropriate channels
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties requested by management
